Drug bust yields cocaine, marijuana
Reno police said they seized 64 grams of rock cocaine and 29 grams of marijuana and arrested six people after searching four rooms at the Keno Motel on North Arlington Street over the weekend.
The police Special Weapons and Tactics Team used search warrants at the motel rooms after officers conducted surveillance in the operation Saturday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., Sgt. Chuck Kendricks said in a statement.
In addition to cocaine and marijuana, about $1,300 was seized, Kendricks said.
The owner of the Keno could not be reached immediately for comment.
Arrested for investigation of charges including possession of drugs for sale were: Issac Corey Hill, 24; Antoinette Ross, 30; Otis James Hughes, 30; and Anita Robinson, 24.
Allison Renee Johnson, 24, and Joyce Williams, 47, were arrested on suspicion of possessing drug paraphernalia.
Two men near the motel, Abraham Kinsey, 47, and Leo Bruce Nolin, 46, were arrested on suspicion of selling cocaine, police said.
